Yesterday many peole gathered at the Grenfell Cemetery to celebrate the life of Dawne Butler. A truly loved women within not only Grenfell but many surrounding areas too. Legend has it that she added the 'e' onto the end of her name because there were too many Dawn's in her class at school and she wanted to be different. She had lived in Grenfell her whole life and adored her family and her garden. The flowers chosen for the casket cover were a spead of pale pink roses to reflect Dawne's love for her garden, especially for her roses. It is evident that Dawne was loved and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Dawne.
